Tahiti' is a dual-purpose ornamental and edible sweet potato vine in the Treasure Island series. It features narrow, deeply lobed, dark-green foliage and produces purple-skinned, deep-purple-fleshed tubers.The leaves are edible, too -- enjoy like spinach, either fresh in salads or sauteed. It will trail or climb up more than 3 feet, making it ideal for containers, hanging baskets, and ground cover.
